Manuel Marsilio is the General Manager of CONEBI – the Confederation of the European Bicycle Industry. Based in Brussels, CONEBI represents the interests of the Bicycle, Pedal-Assist E-Bike and Parts & Accessories Industries before the EU and international Institutions.
Expert of the EU legislative process – in 2023 Marsilio acted as Co-Chair of the Transition Pathway for the EU Mobility Industrial Ecosystem (related to the Cycling sector), which has been set up by the European Commission. At global level, he is supporting the secretariat of the WBIA (the World Bicycle Industry Association) for the work in the context of the World Forum for the Harmonization of Vehicle Regulations, the Working Party on Transport Economics & Trends and the Global Forum for Road Traffic Safety – all organised by the United Nations.
