Inspired by nature

Serpentina is a bikini brand, founded in 2017 and based in Brazil. Every collection is thought so you can mix and match the pieces to create your favorite bikini. We’re constantly looking for the latest innovations in textile technology to build the best swimwear, and we will always be inspired by nature to create our designs.

Our mission is to protect the oceans, rivers and lakes by reestablishing the forests. For each bikini piece we sell, we will plant a new tree in a deforest area in collaboration with IPÊ - Instituto de Pesquisas Ecológicas, a Brazilian institute dedicated to biodiversity conservation through science (http://www.ipe.org.br/en/).

Experience

Driven by the conviction that a pioneer organization must reconsider their methods of doing business, Serpentina’s center reason for existing is to create consciousness about the water use around the world and its impact on the environment.

Our “made on Earth” idea is not only to look for the best suppliers in the world, but also to build a relationship with our communities and care about the local water resources.

We joined forces with the prestigious IPÊ - Instituto de Pesquisas Ecológicas, a Brazilian institute dedicated to biodiversity conservation, which striking and creative work has been recognized with several awards for its innovative work, like the Rolex Award, the Forbes Award and the Whitley Gold Award (considered the international Oscar for environmental conservation). With that collaboration, we signed a commitment that for every bikini piece we sell, a new tree will be donated to the institute to be planted in riparian zones.

When we renew a deforested area, streams and springs are also regenerated. With planting a new tree for every bikini sold, Serpentina is also helping to protect our planet’s waterbody. Our mission is to protect the oceans, rivers and lakes by reestablishing the forests, and we like to call this journey “the water experience”.
