RONI is a Milan based brand that advocates a new and contemporary way of being a woman in a restless time. Transport the tradition of Milanese craftsmanship, with its elegance and strong DNA of subtleness and sophisticated aesthetics, to a deconstruction design inspired by Tel Aviv – a harmoniously chaotic city, where rules are meant to be broken, systems are meant to be disrupted, and social classes are a foreign concept.
When RONI integrates the Tel Avivian deconstruction with the Milanese elegance, a new notion is created: a harmonious hybrid that is both fierce and elegant. By pushing the boundaries between art and fashion, RONI suggests an aesthetic re-design of the silhouette, embroidered by the Italian tailoring accompanied with innovative, ground-breaking thinking, creating a sleek yet fierce figure that's rooted in the brand's infrastructure and aesthetics. RONI STUDIOS has fundamental social and environmental values that characterize the brand throughout its development and growth. As a growing brand, with its ever-growing social impact and added values, the brand calls attention to the entire process between the harvest and the making of the fabric, to the final sewing. Driven by an ideology of environmental ethics and responsibility, RONI hopes to be able to contribute to a more inclusive, conscious and courageous fashion system and positively inspire change through consistent action aligned towards ethical, sustainable methodologies.
Brand Philosophy
Each creation is sewed and interlaced to our values. A redesign of the conventional shape illuminates on the prospect of inclusiveness, to all who exist. Allowing expression to every human is a significant
social message the brand strives to positively communicate. Our creations are produced while preserving environmental ethics and responsibility.
Social message
The brand was born out of a strong ideology to prompt a social-message by distorting and blurring all boundaries and differences that exist, creating a rejuvenated world.
The design initiative was to evolve from the classic, Italian, aesthetic silhouette to an elevated freshness of deconstructivism. This deconstruction breach of the traditional cut vocalizes the essentiality to diversify. RONI is not about dictating how the ideal woman should
look like, it is about giving the room for expression to every person who wants to relate to our creations, and our DNA leaves the female image of the brand profoundly diverse, elucidating availability and belonging to a broad range of identities in our population.
At its core, RONI celebrates diversity. Inclusiveness and the necessity to diversify are encouraged since expression must be allowed to every person. A voice is given to everyone, by saying 'NO' to old ways
and outdated schemes, and saying 'YES' to divergence, embracing the dissimilarity and uniqueness of every person.
Environmental ethics & Responsibility
The brand presents a new 'make less' approach and rewrites the concept of tailoring through the power of design and ingenuity. RONI holds a responsible mindset, and is committed to create
conscious fashion from more environmentally sustainable materials; and not only natural such as plant-based or organic fabrics, but also biodegradable fibers as well. Since most of the sustainability impact
happens at the raw material stage, we aim to minimize the consumption of water, energy or CO2 during the production process. Additionally, each design is characterized by different percentages
and/or levels of sustainability. At present, given that we are an emerging brand, not all products will correspond to all desired criteria. However, actions are taken daily for the sustainability values
to be augmented.
Underlining animal welfare, we are acutely aware of each step in our supply chain, from farm to factory to final product. We hold a steadfast commitment to never use any resources that exploited or
harmed animals in any way. We strive to positively inspire change through consistent action aligned towards sustainable practices.
