Celebrating Greek minimalism and individual style, the brand quickly garnered a loyal following and an international customer base. The original summer sandal brand, it became the go-to sandal for the global traveller. As the business grew, the brand continued to innovate and diversify its offering to create new and iconic bestselling styles including the Eleftheria, Ikaria and Desmos as well as introducing new fabrications and techniques including shearling, raffia, pvc and hot stamping, intricate lacing and tapisserie. Ancient Greek Sandals has also become renowned for their collaborations with designers, retailers and industry insiders including with Marios Schwab, Carven, Fabritzio Vitti and most recently Casablanca. Ancient Greek Sandals continues to see strong growth in key markets including the USA, UK, and Europe. Over the past year sales on their own site have seen an increase of over 40%. Ancient Greek Sandals are handmade locally by skilled craftsmen using traditional techniques that have existed for centuries. The chemical free, natural tan leather ages beautifully with time and wear.
