Over the past five decades, Tombolini has acted as a subtle but enduring yardstick of fine tailoring. Encapsulating the essence of quaint timelessness via a refusal to ascribe to fast, quickly consumed trends, the Italian label has fashioned itself into a brand of masculinity primarily grounded in a profound appreciation for quality, comfort, and elegance — all while ensuring to add a current edge.

Launched in 1964, Eugenio Tombolini’s namesake brand has cemented a sturdy reputation across the high fashion world for efficiently combining the traditional Italian know-how with a concern for comfort and innovation to match the busy lifestyle of the modern, chic globe-trotter. Though our overall global mobility has lessened, Tombolini’s commitment to their original values most definitely hasn’t.

For their latest collection displayed as part of Pitti Immagine Uomo’s 100th edition, Tombolini have fully placed the spotlight on the main vector currently steering the contemporary luxury industry — sustainability — by way of their emblematic Zero Gravity designs. The famously light suits will be celebrated with their own label, Tombolini Zero Gravity, which will include a sustainable capsule titled Tombolini Zero Gravity Bio. Sporting a bright color palette of blue, mango, yellow and reddish hues to visually evoke the hopefulness and optimism of life slowly resuming, the collection’s themes — Ludic, Poetic Traveler, Life in the Desert — also strike as subtle odes to traveling.

Proudly embracing its eco-friendly essence, TMB Sailing offers a luxuriously maritime collection savvily crafted in techno nylon — a fabric produced using the recycled fibers of fishing nets and plastic materials collected from the sea.

Merging traditional Italian craftsmanship with the pressing demands of the contemporary environment and lifestyle, Tombolini proves that tradition and modernity are all but at odds.
