Zona 42 is a newborn italian publishing company, dedicated to imagination literature.  

Our goal is to bring science fiction back into the italian bookstores.

"We have always believed in science fiction, in its ability to create wonder and emotion. It is also one useful mean to reflect on the contemporary world scene. 
We have been around the literary scene for more than 15 years, at a certain point founding a publishing house seemed to us a natural step to share the things we feel we have gained. 
First of all we are readers, for this reason we think we know what readers are looking for in a good book. We propose titles that can excite, entertain, disturb and give pause to think; we select authors and novels that met great success in their early original editions, and translate them to bring them to the italian public, starting from the traditional SF readers to broaden as much as possible our target audience. We know there’s difficult world out there, that is why we ask our readers as much support as possible. Readers will always come first for us. What we offer them are products that stand out for their quality (for both printing and translation) at a reasonable cost.
