Brand Profile
Bottega Errante Edizioni is a publishing house established in 2015 and has around 100 titles in its catalogue. It publishes literature international and Italian literature, books related to travel and mountains, frontiers and cities, novels by great contemporary and classic authors. We are also publishers of a quarterly magazine, Erodoto108, which chronicles places, people, journeys. Since 2022 we have acquired the historical publishing brand Santi Quaranta with its thirty years of history and 150 titles of great quality.
In the 'extensions' series, we publish contemporary and classic literature in
particular from the Balkans. These are volumes dedicated to those who love strong stories, journeys that become exile, writers with complex and wonderful lives. For those who love the East in all its forms.
The 'radar' series aims to capture and bring Central and Eastern European literature to Italy, expanding the publishing house's range of action. A fiction linked to historical, social and political themes that has the ambition of reaching a
wide audience.
In the 'room with a view' series there are stories that take their cue from places, borders and frontiers, be they physical or ideal. In our books we have climbed to the top of a mountain, frequented inns and cemeteries, walked the eastern border, followed the course of a disappearing river, travelled slowly. They are books read by those who know the narrated geographies, but also by those who have never set foot there. They are stories that start from the tales of women and men who tread a territory.
Our authors include: Paolo Rumiz, Loredana Lipperini, Marco Aime, Ivo Andric, Slavenka Drakulic...
