The event hosted by L'Ortone restaurant promises to be an evening dedicated to stories to be heard and to be poured into the wineglass. “Zorzettig: wine according to Annalisa, explained by Leonardo Romanelli” will see the tasting of four wines from the producer that for over 100 years has been cultivating its vineyards on the hills of Spessa near Cividale, in the heart of the Colli Orientali del Friuli wine-producing region. The chosen labels are Pinot Bianco, Ribolla Gialla, Cabernet Franc and Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso. They will be accompanied by four dishes specifically chosen to bring out their characteristics: fried anchovies with a yoghurt sauce and lemon salt; spaghettone pasta with fresh artichokes and shrimp tartare; pappardella pasta with wild boar; beef-cheek stew with seasonal vegetables; cantucci biscuits with vin santo. It will be a journey into the heart of Zorzettig to discover the long tradition, the excellence of the products and the temperament of the woman who took the company onto the international market: Annalisa Zorzettig.
«When we talk about wine, the past is something to be found even ahead of us» says the entrepreneur. «Time passes us by with no season ever the same as another, just as the wine flowing in our glasses is never the same as last year's. Ideas flow along with time, and this is why we are such a dynamic company».
