Rendezvous with the traditional Sunday lunch at Regina Bistecca (Via Ricasoli 14r).  Pranzo tosto con l’antipasto e il girarrosto (100% toscano) [Remarkable lunch with starters and (100% Tuscan) roasting spit] is the event held in collaboration with the Antica Macelleria Falorni butcher’s store during which the starters served will include products like the award-winning PGI Finocchiona, Tuscan salami and Prosciutto. Then it will be over to the 100% Tuscan roasting spit with pork liver wrapped in its netting, scamerita (pork neck), bacon, sausage, chicken thighs and home-made bread. The star of the event will be Stefano Falorni, the proprietor of the Antica Macelleria who will enliven the occasion first with his passion and then with his products. The playful objective is to entice Florentines along to eat meat cooked on the roasting spit not just out of town, as they did in the past, but in the shadow of the Cupola, in the heart of Florence!
