Dinicaffè, the legendary Florence-based company, is turning 80 and raising a toast with the people of FuoriDiTaste. The doors of its roastery are opening up to the public for the first time thanks to the Coffee Cheers: Dinicaffè Turns 80 event, an aperitif with an unmistakable aroma. Guest star, Lucia Montanelli, the queen of mixology: born in Tuscany and now settled in London, head bartender of THE BAR at The Dorchester Hotel in London and winner of many international competitions. She will help us discover coffee in a cocktail version, all accompanied by an assortment of finger food. Enhancing the evening, six works by the Florentine artist Stefano Ramunno which take their inspiration from the historic link between Florence and Dinicaffè. A quest for colours and suggestions through some of the city’s most famous and recognisable buildings, churches and palaces and coffee as a linking element, thanks to signs and graphics that conjure up flowers and beans of the precious plant. A work which, in spring, we will also find on a limited edition line of cups,commemorating 80 years of Dinicaffè.
