About the designer
Ingrid Incisa di Camerana is an Italian shoe designer and the founder of the namesake shoe brand. Born to an elite family and a diplomat father, Ingrid grew up as a citizen of the world. Besides her noble title and her South American origins, she also inherited her parents’ humanitarian traits and became a devoted philanthropist who traveled around the globe for the Red Cross. Ingrid loves to wander, explore and create. She draws inspiration from almost everything: her family, her eclectic lifestyle, her constant traveling and interaction with different cultures.
The greatest influences in her life are her family, including her three sisters, her friends and artists from all over the world. When she is not travelling, Ingrid splits her time between Switzerland, Athens and the picturesque island of Spetses.
Her summer house in Spetses is a peaceful heaven, a place of serenity, dreams and inspiration, where she spends precious moments with her husband, two sons and her closest friends.

The inspiration behind the brand
Ingrid has always been passionate about fashion and footwear. Her biggest aspiration was to design a shoe she dreamed of but could not find: a high-end shoe for leading ladies who want to look stylish and are seeking quality, design and comfort. Ingrid’s vision led her to create her namesake brand Ingrid Incisa di Camerana; a luxurious line of Italian handmade shoes based on high quality, long-lasting design and perfection down to the last detail. Her creative approach focuses on experimenting with design, ornamental and feminine forms that reach the “it” status. Luxurious and seductive, the handcrafted pieces seem more like exquisite jewelry pieces than just another pair of shoes. They exude elegance, femininity, effortless glamour and authentic Italian style; qualities that describe Ingrid herself.
