Petronius is one of the very few luxury artisans operating in Milan since 1926. It makes elegant and unique neck-ties with passion such as the Vera 7 unlined pleats with hand-sewn border. A touch of elegance which is more unique than rare. The Wollisch Family has handed down this tradition for three generations, from Luigi to his son Gastone and subsequently to his grandchildren Luigi, Gigliola and Simona. In 1926 Luigi Wollisch opened his first laboratory in Via Rugabella in Milan where he created high quality, hand-made ties. The fundamental characteristic of the Petronius style is the careful attention given to design, material and craftsmanship. Petronius’ collection is “created” twice a year and each collection includes more than 1,500 colour varieties and excellent quality fabrics such as printed designs on the 36 or 50 ounce twill weave and on regimental and jacquard fabrics. These collections, together with luxury solutions, are appreciated all over the world.
