The new gourmandise: from taste to fragrance

Melanie Duhamel (Fragrance Division Director, MANE Italy, Spain and Portugal), Paolo Di Muzio (Sales and Marketing Director, MANE Italy), Cristina Stefanutti (Marketing Manager Fragrance Division, MANE Italy), Cristiano Canali (Perfumer, MANE) will present on Friday, September 13, at 11:00 AM.

Fragranze Talk: The Sound of Fragrance
On Friday, September 13, this talk draws inspiration from this edition's special immersive installation. Curators Paola Gariboldi and Susanna Macchia will converse with Sonia Constant (perfumer from Givaudan), Cristiano Canali (perfumer from Mane), and composer Alessandro Meistro.

Fragranze Talk: How to judge a perfume
Also on Friday, September 13, Paola Gariboldi and Susanna Macchia will lead a conversation with Olivier Cresp, a legendary French perfumer considered one of the most influential figures in the industry, master perfumer at Firmenich, and creator of Akro (distributed by Olfattorio).

In conversation with François Hénin
On Friday, September 13, a special one-on-one with François Hénin, founder of the perfume house Jovoy, the eponymous boutiques, and the brand Jeroboam, featuring anecdotes, marketing strategies, and surprises.

The Participation of ISTITUTO MARANGONI
The collaboration with Istituto Marangoni continues at this edition of Fragranze with two special initiatives. The talk "Fragrances as Gen Z’s new Woodstock", fragrances as rock operas, with amplified notes to produce maximized sensory effects: perfumers tune the acoustic volume of their creations to engage with Gen Z. Between theory and practice, a conference that explores how perfumes today tell musical stories. Istituto Marangoni will also offer a special educational session on using social media in fragrance communication, highlighting effective (and ineffective) practices.

KAON’s scented cocktail
For over twenty years, Kaon has participated in Pitti Fragranze with enthusiasm and passion. All the distributed brands will participate at this edition, and to celebrate the introduction of the Ajmal brand into the Kaon family, as well as in-house brand Laboratorio Olfattivo’s 15-year anniversary, Kaon will host a scented cocktail on the afternoon of Friday, September 13, within the Stazione Leopolda's square, featuring music and bubbles. Because Perfumery is also Fun.

Workshops by FRAGONARD
Fragonard, a historic French perfumery brand, will offer a series of workshops on Saturday, September 14. In these workshops, curious and expert participants can create personalized olfactory creations using standard raw materials—a unique experience in the workshop area.

KV by KATERYNA VEL'MENKO
A sensory journey from Italy to Persia. Echoes of bicerin and saffron tea in perfumes. Kateryna Vel'menko, the eponymous brand's founder, discusses the brand's inception and explores, along with perfumer Antonio Alessandria, the inspirations for the fragrances "A Bit Hazelnutty" and "Not a Morning Person." The audience is invited to experience the raw materials of the two perfumes.

DANHERA
The brand was born from a meeting between founder DANIELA C., who has dedicated over 35 years to creating exclusive products, and the goddess HERA, queen of Olympus. DANHERA blends myth with the contemporary world, offering pure products with carefully selected ingredients and a passion for life, humanity, and the world.

The talk “DIBALDO and the Alchemy of the Senses”
Dibaldo is the brand of spirits and liqueurs created by the genius of Baldo Baldinini, who has made relentless research and the use of the best botanicals from around the world his creed. Dibaldo will also present a special Signature Drink created for Fragranze.

RELATOS OLFATIVOS DEL PASADO
An immersive, auditory, and scented journey through History Clara Buedo, Spanish journalist and writer, an expert in fragrances and beauty, founder of the digital magazine Beauty Matters, and author of the newly released book Historia del Perfume: Olfactory Stories of the Past, presents a special event to discover different eras through aroma tastings. From exotic scents like biblical onycha to mythical perfumes, each stage will be accompanied by music and aromas evoking the spirit of the era. The journey will cover everything from sacred incense to 20th-century cult fragrances, offering a unique multisensory experience.
