Carola fra i Trulli is the home fragrance brand launched in 2021 by Carola Altamura, a Milanese interior architect with deep Apulian emotional roots, as a poetic olfactory tale of the Itria Valley in Puglia, its native flora and its artistic techniques traditional.
The brand explores the fascinating relationship between handcrafted ceramics, colors and scents by reinterpreting an icon of the Valle d'Itria area, the "trullo": designed by Carola, it becomes a decorative object with an intense olfactory soul and a strong chromatic suggestion.
The "macchiato", with its artistic gestures, thus becomes the emblem of the brand, praise of joyful and spontaneous imperfection. The artisan brushstroke turns into petals and leaves that fly lightly in the air.
The brand's first iconic fragrance is "Foglie di Fico" (Fig Leaves), conceived as an ode to the green, luminous and aromatic scent of fig leaves under the summer sun.
In 2023, the brand completes the collection of eight botanical fragrances, each associated with a color to create a synesthetic dialogue that combines sight and smell.
Carola fra i Trulli is strongly based on sustainable choices such as careful design, honest materials and a conscious approach to minimize the impact on the environment.
