A caring adventure

Memories are imprinted through the senses. A custom of the last century was to share impressions and experiences with postcards. We decided to create a new version of the postcard through the sense of smell, with which you will travel to a destination and its aromas.

We were born with the challenge of preserving a destination inside a bottle. We promote access to artistic perfumery in a sustainable way, without big impersonal marketing campaigns or the barriers of ultra-luxury.

We have always been travellers, entrepreneurs and curious people.
In 2012 we started our journey in the fragrance industry, where after our training we were fortunate to be assigned to the Middle East Region. There, fragrances are culture and almost every household knows the ingredients, and their blends are taught from generation to generation.
Together with multinationals in the industry, we worked with the region's historic brands, for whom we coordinated the formulation and supply of fragrances, while sharing endless discussions over tea.
Emirates, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Libya, India, Pakistán...Our experience grew and so did the territories we covered, as we began travelling throughout East Africa and South Asia. An exciting time that taught us to open our eyes to other cultures, their smells and traditions.
At the end of 2018, the Mediterranean claimed us and we returned home, from where we continued to travel while settling in.
We decided to venture out and share the experiences of all those years through fragrances and to do so in a sustainable, humane and honest way. Thus Botanicae was born.
From here our stories are told through fragrances. We work and live intensively to continue surprising you with them.
