Customeasy, under the creative direction of Maurizio Brocchetto, evolves to embrace the complex universe of Fashion at Work. This unique project is designed to delve into the various aspects of customization and to offer visitors an increasingly extensive, contemporary, and fluid exhibition path that integrates different textile competencies. An elegant and functional setup that extends from the Lower Level of the Central Pavilion to the Sala Alpha will provide a complete perspective on the best offerings from companies involved in customization.

The Centro di Firenze per la Moda Italiana, known for its commitment to addressing strategic issues within the fashion industry, will delve into the opportunities and critical points presented by the new scenario introduced by the European Regulation on Ecodesign. This regulation will have a significant impact on the way products are designed. On Wednesday, June 28, at 11 a.m., a talk featuring key figures from the world of Italian fashion education, entrepreneurs, creatives, and experts is set to initiate a discussion on developing an “Italian way” towards Ecodesign.

A special area at Pitti Filati (in the Lower Level Cavedio) will also be dedicated to the contest for new talents in international knitwear, promoted by Feel the Yarn®, a brand that encompasses most of the initiatives of the Consorzio Promozione Filati (Consortium for the Promotion of Yarns) - CPF. The theme of the 2023 edition of the contest will be "Feel the People," featuring 10 finalists competing with a total of 20 garments.

Consinee, the leading player in the international spinning world known for its high-quality and completely sustainable productions, will present a special project at Pitti Filati curated by Labelhood, a fashion incubator and one of the most innovative retailers in China. The Sala Ottagonale of the Costruzioni Monumentali will host the capsules of selected cutting-edge designers - including PONDER.ER and NULLUS from China, and Luca Larenza from Italy - made with Consinee's sustainable yarns.

Craftsmanship and new technologies unite in a synergetic collaboration in the fashion system. The goal of the Knitting the Future project is to highlight how the technologies and know-how of D-House Urban Laboratory can combine with artistic and creative performances to create something unique and innovative. This edition of the Urban Laboratory's booth will feature a performance by Turin-based artist Matteo Thiela, who, thanks to a production method he devised, will create garments with a unique and original design in combination with the most innovative technologies of D-House.

Slow Fiber is born from the collaboration between Slow Food and some companies in the textile supply chain that aim to represent good models capable of offering beautiful, healthy, clean, fair, and durable products that respect the dignity of human beings and nature. Its goal is to spread a new ethics and culture of dressing and furnishing. The project presentation will take place on Wednesday, June 28th, at the Sala della Scherma.
