Pitti Filati is again home to Vintage Selection, the reference show for vintage clothing, accessories, and design objects.
Taking place during the days of the fair, from Wednesday, January 25, to Friday, January 27, at the Medici Pavilion of the Fortezza da Basso, Vintage Selection is now recognized as one of the most authoritative and prestigious vintage events in Italy and Europe.
As always, even this 39th edition ties into Pitti Filati's Spazio Ricerca's theme, "ALPHABET," which emphasizes the importance of dialogue and communication. We live in an era of profound change where evolution is faster than thought and conceptualization, so learning to speak a new language seems like the logical path to follow. As a set of primary codes, the alphabet will inspire three thematic and aesthetic clusters: the Greek alphabet, the Roman alphabet, and the Arabic alphabet summarizing the three spirits of spring/summer 2024-2025.
