In 1876, Giuseppe Botto established his wool mill in Valle Mosso, in the province of Biella. In 2016, the company celebrated 140 years of business. Today, the fourth generation of the family runs the company, attentive to the challenges of the future Yarns and fabrics created and produced in the two facilities of Valle Mosso and Tarcento are the heart and soul of cashmere, wool, silk, linen and cotton collections produced by exclusive spinning, weaving, dyeing. The Naturalis Fibra is a project of sustainable yarn, precisely wool, cashmere, silk and linen that are processed in the Tarcento facility, which uses only sustainable energy: hydroelectricity produced by the dam and solar energy from photovoltaic panels. Botto Giuseppe travels the world over on a quest for the finest raw material from farms that share their commitment to safeguarding the environment The emphasis on sustainability manifests itself as a tremendous effort along the entire chain, achieving excellent results in terms of products, people and workplaces. Yarns have achieved the Gold Level from Cradle to Cradle Material Health Certificate and the company is RWS certified since 2019.
