Company Profile
The history of NEW MILL, beyond being the history of an enterprise, is also the history of a family, which has, as its leading thread, the art of creating carded yarns in Prato, a place worldwide known for textile. The company was born in 1966 and has always been, since then, a point of reference for the world of fashion. Our yarns are appreciated for their quality, we have a wide range of stock service availability. Our most important part of the production is based on pure cashmere, cashmere blends and lambswool, both recycled and certified; pure wool coming from certified farms and viscose blends with ECOVERO by Lenzing and certified organic cotton. New Mill today with its internal completely vertical structure can offer carded and fancy yarns in many different compositions and structures. Our products are the result of the work of a highly professional team that thanks to its experience, has been able to develop and set up a production line in Italy. We only use noble and precious fibres, with particular attention to quality and ethics of the final product, to be able to produce sustainable yarns. New Mill boasts several certifications, connected to sustainable products, such as GRS (Global Recycle Standard), RWS (Responsible Wool Standard), GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard), OCS (Organic Content Standard) and SFA (Sustainable Fibre Alliance) for cashmere fibre now in the process of certification.
