“Feel the Yarn – The Contest” discloses its social-friendly essence and its 11th edition is fully organized in the name of “being a community”. After a selection by the consortium “Consorzio Promozione Filati – CPF” and by “Pitti Immagine Filati” with the supervision of Ornella Bignami, among 22 international fashion schools the 34 participating students come from and after the identification of 34 companies which supplied the yarns to manufacture the outfits, the Contest moves from Florence catwalks to Facebook. It is a modern procedure which not only meets the safety needs imposed by Covid-19, but it also uses a consistent tool considering the typology of participants (students) and the target to achieve: the support the triangulation school-student-company, offering a chance for participants and enterprises to grow and to develop.
