Alvanon was founded in 2001 by Dr Kenneth Wang, with the vision that we, as an industry, will be developing, marketing and selling garments digitally at some point. Our first "fit tools" were designed using Maya, the animation software used by Pixar to make its animated movies. 

Alvanon is a digital body technology company, that uses generative AI to help its fashion and apparel clients to size and fit garments faster, and potentially with less waste. The firm is also researching ways to link generative design to its clients’ manufacturing processes so that garments are produced in sizes and volumes that reflect real-time demand. 

Since 2001, it has generated the world’s largest database of nearly two million 3D body scans carried out in Asia, Europe, Africa and the Americas.
