Brand Profile
JACOB COHËN
Brand Profile
The Jacob Cohën brand was born in 1985 in the province of Padua from an intuition of Tato Bardelle (former founder of the brand Americanino) and immediately established itself in the field of luxury denim. But it is in 2003 that Jacob Cohën takes shape when Nicola Bardelle, Tato's son, thanks to his genius and creative talent, takes over the reins of the company.
The first luxury denim was born.
Jacob Cohën is thus the only denim to be sold in boutiques alongside the top brands.
Nicola Bardella created the first men's jeans with a skinny fit that could finally be worn with a blazer.
"I created my first jeans because I wanted a garment that was comfortable, up-to-date but at the same time luxury, exclusive and suitable for even the most formal moments."
An ambitious goal that Nicola Bardelle reaches thanks to his ability and inventiveness and to a constant research in the sign of innovation without ever forgetting tradition. This is how jeans with sartorial constructions and perfect wearability are created, made with fine fabrics, such as Japanese denim Kurabo and Kuroki, rich in precious details: rivets and buttons in ruthenium, platinum and carbon, enamelled in silver in various colors, hand stitching and embroidery and labels in pony skin, which has always been a distinctive sign of the brand.
Past and future, tradition and innovation blend harmoniously in each creation (strictly Made in Italy and designed for a demanding and refined clientele) made in the sign of high craftsmanship and skilled manual work, but using the most modern technologies. Without forgetting the attention that the brand, since the beginning, pays to the environment and the health of the consumer. The use of natural dyes and the absence of chemical processes in fixing the color distinguish all the collections of the brand.
