Paolo Bianchini, born in 1961, a well-known producer of Brunello di Montalcino, is co-owner with his sister Lucia of the Ciacci Piccolomini d'Aragona estate located in Castelnuovo dell'Abate, southeast of the town of Montalcino (SI).
In the wine business, he continues with great dedication the work and philosophy directly transmitted by his father Giuseppe, the first owner of Ciacci Piccolomini d'Aragona.
In his wines the perfect combination of past tradition and technological innovation.
Paolo's passion has always been cycling: his talent brought him close to professionalism at a young age and today, uniting this noble sport with the world of wine is one of his cardinal principles.
The cycling museum with two tasting rooms at the winery is the centerpiece.
In 2014 he founded ASD Brunello Bike, the amateur sports association of the Ciacci Piccolomini d'Aragona winery, whose primary purpose is to donate to charity, in support of Alex Zanardi's Obiettivo3 project, the proceeds of membership through the purchase of the Ciacci Piccolomini d'Aragona cycling jersey.
