Since 2022, Andrea Casalini has been leading ENDU as Chief Executive Officer. ENDU is a digital platform dedicated to endurance sports enthusiasts, currently boasting 1 million registered users. It manages data for 2,000 events in Italy and produces digital content that garnered over 15 million views in 2023.
From 2014 to 2019, he was the CEO of Eataly Net, the Eataly group company responsible for the international e-commerce of high-quality products related to Italian eno-gastronomic culture. Prior to this role, from April 2000 to December 2013, he was the CEO of Buongiorno, a global leader in mobile entertainment services, listed on the Milan Stock Exchange.
From 1996 to 2000, Casalini worked at Electronic Data Systems (EDS), a world leader in IT outsourcing, where he held several key positions, including Managing Director of EDS Italy and President EMEA of the E-solutions business line. Early in his career, he worked as a strategic consultant from 1989 to 1996 at McKinsey & Company in the Milan and Chicago offices, and from 1987 to 1989 at Accenture.
Over the years, Andrea Casalini has invested in numerous start-ups: in addition to those he managed (ENDU, Eataly Net, Buongiorno), he has been an angel investor in various other companies, including Assist Digital, Shopfully, Talent Garden, We Road, and Restopolis (The Fork).
