Aldo Fiordelli, a professional journalist from Florence, works as senior editor for James Suckling, one of the world's most influential wine critics. In Italy he writes for several editions of Corriere della Sera (Florence, Emilia, North-East) and for Civiltà del bere, the oldest Italian wine magazine. He has worked for Decanter, a magazine for which he was also a judge at the Decanter World Wine Awards and on the steering committee of the L'Espresso Guide. In 2022 he was appointed correspondent of the Italian Academy of Vine and Wine and in the same year received the Casato Primedonne international award. He has written seven books, the latest of which 'Maremma Toscana' has just been published. In his spare time he enjoys reading, cycling and sailing.
